Hold The Line 2026

Are you ready to battle?

2025 Highlights

Relive the intensity of last year's competition. From the tire flips to the final sprint, our athletes left everything on the floor.

"It's not about being the strongest. It's about not quitting when you are the weakest."

Common Questions

Teams should consist of four women. Either all Fire, all Police, or all EMS personnel. No mixing and matching! If you are a member from a smaller department and need help finding teammates, you can reach out to us and we can attempt to find you teammates.

Hold the Line is proud of the fact that every penny raised from sponsorships and athlete registration goes toward swag bags, prize packages, and supporting our judges and volunteers. Last year, all proceeds from merch and swag, plus any left from sponsorships, was donated to the 100 club of San Antonio and the Thrivewell Cancer Foundation.

You can sign up with any name for now and change it later on.

Typically, HTL has four events in one single day of competition. The day starts with a team check-in and rules overview at 7:30am, and the podium/awards announcement is at 5:30pm. For example, a team's schedule may have Event 1 at 9am, Event 2 at 11:45am, and Event 3 at 3:00pm. There is always a "Floater Event" with no defined time that the team must complete during one of their breaks.

Events are usually 10-18 minutes, with movements varying from tire flips, hose drags, and dummy carries, to classic fitness movements like burpees, box jumps, pull ups, or deadlifts. Follow our Instagram hold_the_line_sa to read more detailed descriptions and see past photos and videos. This year's event announcements will be dropped on Instagram by September 18th.

Registration fees are non-refundable but may be transferable to another athlete up to 2 weeks prior to the event date.

Our Mission

The Concept

We originated from the idea that Police Officers and Firefighters could compete in "crossover" style events to find a mutual respect for each other's daily challenges.

The Competition

Fierce competitors step off the streets and onto the competition floor. From tire flips to hose drags, we test the fittest female first responders.

The Cause

All proceeds from merch and sponsorships go toward supporting our athletes and donating to first responder charities.
